What I See by Paul Q of Xristozo Looking out on this country My heart begins to rise Not because of all the things That we have done right But because my spirit’s seeing Something greater than my eyes There’s a wind of Heaven moving Breathing hope back into life I see the hurt behind the anger The wounded and ashamed So many souls still searching For healing from their pain But mercy’s standing in the darkness Calling every heart by name And the Father’s arms are open For the ones who’ve lost their way Oh can you hear it now Love is calling out Broken heart arise, hold to faith It’s not too late to leave your chains Lift up your tear-stained eyes Heaven’s called your name Come as you are, leave the fear You don’t have to hide Grace has opened the door wide You new life is a breath away There’s a generation waiting To finally be set free Not by power, not by politics But truth that makes us free And every prodigal returning Is another victory As the light of Christ keeps shining Through the darkest enemy So let revival start within us Let compassion lead the way Give us eyes to see the broken Like You see us every day And when this world is filled with hatred Let Your church still be a flame Lifting high the name of Jesus Till the lost come home again Turn around and see the ground From the dust you will arise From broken lives hope is found Faith will rise like morning light Chains will fall, hearts awaken Mercy speaks and fear must bow There is healing in His presence You don’t have to wander now Broken heart arise, hold to faith It’s not too late to leave your chains Lift up your tear-stained eyes Heaven’s called your name Come as you are, leave the shame There is hope today Love has rolled the stone away The price is already paid today There’s a wind of Heaven moving Breathing hope back into life And the ones the world abandoned Are still precious in His sight Broken hearts are being mended Eyes once blind will see again There is mercy for the weary There is new life found in Him
