Broken Soldier

It’s been said, “The Christian army is the only one in the world that shoots it’s wounded.” God Forbid! I wrote this song with the wounded in mind. For those who have fallen, and don’t know there way back, feeling like giving up on everything, feeling like nothing can help them, this song is for you! Don’t give up, you let today be your day!

Broken Soldier Xristozo When Feelings are what you cannot shake, holding failures and past mistakes, When left to die, and drown in regret There’s something more, to not forget When grief becomes an endless sea And every wave says "you'll never be" The life you dreamed, the heart you knew Still Heaven hasn't abandoned you Broken soldier, come now and see Not what your were, but meant to be Love is calling, don’t turn away It’s time to Rise, wipe tears away Come learn to fly His cross was raised, so you could rise To leave behind the broken past Embrace the hope, of joy that lasts Leave behind the shadows past Come embrace, your hope at last Who you were, is not your name Love is calling out, your name When guilt has chained, your weary soul And broken dreams, have claimed their toll When every breath, recalls your shame God still whispers, out your name When your own heart, pulls you down And memories past, bring a frown Your tears speak, of broken things Awaiting now, is a hope, that joy brings One chapter closes, another unfolds God's writing stories no sorrow could hold His cross was taken, so that you would rise Uncondemned in His eyes Broken soldier, come now and see Not what your were, but meant to be Love is calling, don’t turn away His hand is reaching to wipe tears away Broken wings, Come learn to fly His cross was raised, so you could rise To leave behind the broken past Embrace the hope, of joy that lasts Leave behind the shadows past Come embrace your hope at last Who you were, is not your name Love has calling out, your name Come to the fountain, taste now and see Your life matters, in what’s meant to be All of our sorrows and all of our pains Forgotten forever, in a life God sustains
