Lift The Banner
Praise is something that comes from the depths of your being, it is the unison of your soul in expression of gratitude for what God has done for you, and that thanksgiving as the testimony of it. In dark times of good, it is your cry within your being back to the One from whom you came.
Lift The Banner
Xristozo
In famine or fury, or death’s dark face
Your light is still shining, by love and grace
No tempest can shadow, the love profound
You now with me, is holy ground
Battles before, and troubles behind
I will not retreat, but show your love kind
Saints before me, proclaimed the faith
Declaring the truth that opened the way
Oh precious savior, I stand, I stand
In victory, with lifted hands, I sing
The darkened night, will pass away
The powers of heaven, will make the way
Lift now the banner, of Jesus the King
All feeble hearts, lift voice and sing
The weak made strong, blind eyes to see
The power of death, lost in Victory
I stand now before, with hands open wide
My heart fully devoted, to stand on your side
With enemies surrounding, my heart will not fear
I will not tremble, as long as your near
With tears that have fallen, and joys that abound
The kingdom is calling, with heaven’s sound
With Angel’s rejoicing, I join them and sing
The Gospel message, I'll fail not to bring
Forever my Jesus, I worship You
There’s no other thing I want to do!
The darkened night, will pass away
The powers of heaven, will make the way
Lift now the banner, of Jesus the King
All feeble hearts, lift voice and sing
The weak made strong, blind eyes to see
The power of death, lost in Victory
I am calling out, hear me say
To love you Jesus, In all that I do
With banners raised, and voice make known
Forever Jesus, your name I proclaim
Hold it up, ever high
Hold it up, the banner high
Hold it up, that others see
The battle won, the victory
Hold it up, ever high
Hold it up, the banner high
Hold it up, that others see
The battle won, the victory
The darkened night, will pass away
The powers of heaven, will make the way
Lift now the banner, of Jesus the King
All feeble hearts, lift voice and sing
The weak made strong, blind eyes to see
The power of death, lost in Victory
Hold it up, ever high
Hold it up, the banner high
Hold it up, that others see
The battle won, the victory
Hold it up, ever high
Hold it up, the banner high
Hold it up, that others see
The battle won, the victory
